Melbourne is a beautiful City. There is loads to see and it is a struggle to see it all sometimes in such a short space of time.

He’s my 1 day walking city guide to make the most of Melbourne.

PS There is an optional Tram ride to extend it out of the CBD 🙂

Lets Begin – Start At Flinders Street Station

Then onto Federation Square

The Jump across the Street to Federation Square, there’s always functions going on so have a walk around

Explore the lanes around this area, then walk up Swanston street towards the Melbourne Central Station. In the Mall above, there some more shopping to be had but most importantly there’s more instragram opportunities!

Take a pic of the Historic CBD Shot Tower – more info on this historical building can be found here – http://www.melbournecentral.com.au/our-heritage In the Mall there is also a food court, Cinema and a Pub if you need a top up!   Head back down Elizabeth Street, past the GPO the new H&M Flagship store – which is on the Corner of Elizabeth / Burke.

Immigration Museum

Take some time to wander through the Inner City Malls on Burke Street. Then head back down towards the river and visit the Immigration Museum on Flinders Street and hear stories about how people used to arrive and why they left their homes to travel to Australia.

Lots of learning to be done 💭

There you go, that’s a pretty hectic day! but a great way to explore a lot of what Melbourne has to offer. The only thing left to do is to hit up one of the Bars on Chapel Street and enjoy your evening.
